Gateshead Cares: Keeping Gateshead Residents Who Wander Safe with Lumiio

Gateshead Council estimates that almost 1,150 residents are living with dementia, and with an aging population projected to rise by 17% in 2047, demand for extra support in social care is a key issue. That's why Gateshead Council has worked with safeguarding technology developer Lumiio to launch a pilot Smart Dementia Safeguarding Wristband initiative.
