Device Locked Protection
All Lumiio tags are always secured to our app, but with the Alert subscription we add additional security.
Not only can only a Lumiio app update your tag, Lumiio Alert automatically locks the tag so only the original phone is able to update data. Ensuring your loved one’s tag is completely secure.
Any other phone using the Lumiio app will fail to change the data, so your loved one’s tag is tamper-proof.
Instant Text Alerts
Ensure you are always only a tap away with our Text Alerts feature.
With Text Alerts turned on, the phone number inputted in the emergency contacts section of a Lumiio tag becomes the designated SMS recipient.
If the phone number is valid, every time the tag is scanned an instant message will be sent alerting the emergency contact.
The Alert subscription allows for 5 SMS messages to be set to your emergency contacts per/month.
Prompted Geo Alerts
Immediately access your loved one’s location and reunite faster with Geo Alerts.
With the Text Alerts feature enabled you can also include the tags last scanned location onto the SMS alert message. This location is sent as a link to Google maps and includes coordinates.
The Geo Alert feature does require the person scanning the tag to opt-in to share their location, for data protection purposes.
If the tag is scanned with the Lumiio app, the person scanning can specify the accuracy of the location sent.
