Lumiio Joins Croydon Fire Station for Their Summer Open Day 2026
On Friday 31st July some of the team at Lumiio had the pleasure to attend London Fire Brigade, Croydon's big summer open day. At Lumiio, we believe in ensuring everyone has the ability to access smart safeguarding solutions. That's why at we handed out 50 free samples of our new Kids Collection Wristbands at the LFB Croydon event, complete with a set-up guide and details about us. Why Autistic Children are More at Risk of Wandering?
Between 18 months and 5 years, children have a quickly growing sense of freedom and independence which leads to wandering or bolting. Generally, this behaviour becomes less common after age 5 and drops off after age 7. But for children on the autism spectrum, it can continue well into teenage years. Some studies suggest that at least 49% of children on the spectrum have bolted or wandered from their safe adult or setting.
