For over 10 years, our sister company Seritag used their NFC expertise to work supply NFC dementia and essential personal information ID wristbands to police forces and charities across the UK.

The problems

But as projects grew, the lack of a consistent identity made it harder for first responders to recognise and use them effectively.

Additionally, the method of adding information to the tags was clunky, often not allowing the details to be updated. Equally, the tags couldn't be read by iPhones without a mobile app installed- being only natively compatible some Androids.

The solution

To solve this, we created Lumiio- the smart, safeguarding solution that creates digital, emergency information wearable ID's.
