As part of their effort to become Dementia Friendly, Ards and North Down Council launched a new Dementia Safeguarding Scheme powered by Lumiio’s specially designed dementia safeguarding products.
Launched to coincide with the 2025 Dementia Action Week, led by the Alzheimer’s Society, this scheme supports safety and wellbeing for those living with dementia through our NFC-enabled, wearable safeguarding devices.
In this partnership we provided Ards and North Down Council with Soft-Touch Dementia Wristbands and Dementia Hangtags branded with their name and logo, in the traditional dementia awareness yellow.
The Ards and North Down Council Dementia Safeguarding Scheme provides immeasurable peace of mind to caregivers, whilst ensuring the safety and continued independence of those living with dementia.
