After the success of the Ards and North Down Council’s yellow Dementia Safeguarding NFC wristband project, a team member from Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council reached out to us. They were keen to bring the same initiative to their own community.

Each bright yellow wristband and hangtag proudly features the Powered by Lumiio logo. They’re all pre-programmed with our Lumiio software, making it easy for users to add the information they need.

To make sure the system works seamlessly, council staff and local police officers have been trained look out for these products and how to scan them if the situation arises.

We’re really excited about this new partnership and hope it will bring peace of mind to those living with dementia, as well as to their families, friends and caregivers.
